BUSINESS EXPERIENCE

Franchise candidates should have business experience although restaurant experience is not necessary. We prefer to work with candidates who have either business experience or want to own and operate their own business.

PASSION

Franchise candidates should have a real passion for the business. We want to work with franchise owners who are excited about working with a unique and exciting brand. In a nutshell, you must love and be passionate about our product.

INVOLVEMENT

Franchise candidates should be involved in their businesses every day. You don't have to be at the location 24/7, but you should check in regularly and keep an eye on operations, operating costs and sales numbers. You should also be enthusiastic about promoting your Fresh Burger™ business within your community.

Step 1

GETTING STARTED

Please complete the Contact Us form. This form allows us to learn more about you and to better understand your goals, background, and capabilities. The form is non-binding and all personal information is kept strictly confidential.

This form should be sent to franchising@fresh-burger.com

We will schedule an initial call of 10 to 15 minutes to help us get to know you better and for you to learn more about Fresh Burger™ and our franchise recruitment process.

Step 2

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

Three to five days after the initial call, we will delve further into the Fresh Burger™ system and franchise recruitment process. This meeting will take approximately one to three hours. You would visit us at our corporate office to get a further understanding of the Fresh Burger™ brand offering, experience and culture. Our team will walk you through Fresh Burger™’s unique offering and further explore our mission and values with you and your team.

We ask that you make a presentation to our Executive Team on why you would make a great addition as a Fresh Burger™ franchisee.

Step 3

DUE DILIGENCE

Background and credit check conducted.

Fresh Burger™ will conduct a background check and a credit check on the franchisee candidate. Review FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document): We strongly recommend that you retain a franchise-specific attorney to help you review this detailed and rather complex document. The FDD is written in plain English, and your responses should follow our lead of not engaging in “legalese.”

We will discuss what territories both you and Fresh Burger™ are interested in operating in.

Step 4

APPROVAL COMMITTEE

The Executive Team meets to vote on whether or not to approve the awarding of your Fresh Burger™ franchise.

If the decision is made to award a franchise, the Executive Team will communicate with you and provide you with the Franchise Disclosure Document.  Every franchisor must provide prospective franchisee candidates with a copy of its Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) at the appropriate time during the franchisee recruitment process.

The FDD provides the franchisee candidate with important information about the Fresh Burger™ franchise offering and outlines the relationship between franchisor and franchisee.

Step 5

AWARD FRANCHISE

After a cooling-off period of 14 days, the Executive Team of Fresh Burger™ will schedule a time to execute the franchise agreement and/or area development agreement.

Once the franchise agreement is executed, the Fresh Burger™ Training and Development team will schedule training for you and your team.
